The Smith Family has been working to amend the lives of children living in disadvantage for 100 years.

The Problem

Today, there are more than 1.2m Australian children and young people living in poverty.

Disadvantaged students have a 19 per cent lower year twelve completion rate.

Disadvantaged students accept significantly lower Year 12 completion rates.

Disadvantaged students are on average 2 to 3 years behind in reading and maths by the time they are 15 years old.

Disadvantaged students are on boilerplate 2-3 years behind in reading and maths by the fourth dimension they are 15 years old.
